About nzb.is
nzb.is is an independent publication covering the Usenet ecosystem — NZB indexers, providers and infrastructure, and the privacy tooling around them.
Who it's for
We write for people who already use Usenet. You won't find beginner walkthroughs or "what is Usenet" explainers here — the assumption is that you know your way around indexers, providers, and an *arr stack, and you want analysis rather than onboarding.
How we work
Articles are analysis and reporting, not affiliate listicles. When something shifts in the space — a provider sale, an indexer going dark, a change in payment or privacy options — the goal is to explain what actually matters, including the inconvenient parts.
Transparency
The site carries sponsor slots. They are always clearly labeled and kept separate from editorial coverage; sponsor links are marked rel="sponsored". A sponsorship never buys a recommendation in an article.
Staying current
Usenet moves quickly — providers get sold, indexers close, deals expire. Time-sensitive articles carry a publication date and are updated when the facts change.
